This means they are resistant to splashes of water you might get washing your hands or doing the dishes, but they should not be fully submerged in water — so forget about swimming or diving. Your leather band should never be allowed to become saturated with water, as this will permanently damage the appearance and function of the leather.
How do I look after a leather watch?
Leather is a natural hide material that takes on moisture from water, the oils in your skin and other materials. To keep your leather watch strap in good nick, we recommend keeping it dry and occasionally applying leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and flexible.
